Living in the Gym Part 1

Hello all, i hope you have had a great start to your week. I hope your weekend was slightly restful. My weekend was the exact opposite of restful. Between Friday and Saturday, i spent a good 20.5 hours in the gym because i was working the 3 athletic competitions we had going on. It was hectic and stressful, but i did have some fun while i was at it. On Friday night as i was walking home from the gym, i hit a very icy patch and the pavement rose up from the ground and sucked me down hard....in simple words: i biffed it good and did a right bang up job to the knee i had reinjured this summer while at camp. I'm not sure how bad my knee is yet....i'm waiting for the big bruise and the initial swelling to go down before i venture out to my specialist. No use getting all panicked over a bruise if that is all it is. This week is going to be busy as well. Tuesday is my youngest sister's 19th brithday....can't believe she is turning 19 (Yikes!) and i have several meetings and then this coming weekend will be living in the gym part 2 because it is one of Canada's largest Christian youth retreats that happen, and it happens here in Caronport. It's called Youth Quake. I have to practically live in the gym this weekend because i am the venue host and faciliy coordinator for the gym. It basically means that i get to be the host for the guest performers who do their acts in the gym and i get a meal pass to the VIP Room which means i get to meet the concert performers, that should be slightly cool. Well, it is late and i need to get to bed. Have a good week all and i shall write when i get more time to do so!

Hey J! I hope you are keeping a sly eye on the Winter olympics - Canadian ladies had a great win in Ice hockey!

Have fun meeting all the bands, I shall be in Essex seeing my parents!
