Weekend at Camp

My first 5 days on the job have been great! I'm making friends and really settling into my new "home" and the way of life here really well so far. However, it is a weekend away for most of the pre-exsisting staff. That means except for me and maybe 2 other people, we are the only ones left around here. Thankfully, one of two people lives around here all year long and decided not to leave for the weekend. This person, also thankfully let us watch movies at her house and she is cooking for us tomorrow after church (she happens to also be one of the camp cooks). Church tomorrow is in the town of Gimli (20 minutes from camp), and its a cute little town of 3500 people. During the summer though, the town almost becomes 20,000 people due to the fact that it is a beach resort town. It should be interesting to see how a town adapts to that many people.
Monday is the start of my module back at U of M. I'm getting excited for it, but a little nervous to see all the people I haven't seen in over a year. I know it will be alright, but part of me is wondering at the same time. I know I'm not the same, and maybe they aren't either. Please pray for me in this coming week.
Here in Canada, Sunday is also Mother's Day. Just wanted to say that I love and appreciate my mother BIG time!!!
Hope everyone is doing well. For those of you who went on C.U. weekend away, I hope you had a blast!
