Golf Carts Yield to Pedestrians??
On Wednesday May 25th, 2005 Camp Arnes had their annual golf tournament at Larters at St. Andrew's. It is a very proper golf and country club. I had to wear a collared tank top even. I found out that there is indeed a proper way to drive a golf cart around the 6000 yards of golf course: You are expected to yeild to golfers who are walking the course instead of driving it. As well, as you apporach a new hole, if there are any golfers waiting to T off, you stop your golf cart and wait for the golfer to T off before continuing past the hole. It was an educational experience :) The golf tournament could not have gone any better, and I even have the sunburn to prove it too! We had 101 golfers out of a possible 140, so it wasn't too bad of a turn out.
This weekend, camp has a ladies retreat happening here. It is my weekend off, but I decided that the two hosts for the weekend (matt and debbie) may need more assistance than just the 2 of them can do by themselves, so i am on call for the weekend just in case something goes terribly wrong. As well, tomorrow I have a hair appointment booked. Do I dare do anything crazy right before family pics for my sister's high school grad in 2 weeks. hmmmm something for me to ponder over the next 24 hours!
