Thoughts that make you go Hmmmm
So, today I get an email from my travel agent saying that it is going to cost me $250 canadian dollars to switch my flight at christmas to july. Now $250 is roughly just under a quarter of what a full plane tickets costs. My question is.....is it more worth while just to go home at christmas and buy a new ticket to come back to school in january or do i just pay the fee and don't go home until july?
I am at peace with staying here in the U.K. for christmas, and i have many offers to do various things with my friends over the christmas break. However, it would still be really nice to go home for Christmas. The price though it just really expensive. I think i may need a parent-child conference sometime soon!
Anyways, on to more amusing topics of conversation. Tonight, Karen and I are trying to round up a bunch of our guy friends to go watch a movie. We have not told the guys what movie we are going to be seeing because we know that they would back out right away! We are planning on seeing the Princess Diaries 2. We watch what the guys want to watch all the time and now it is their turn to squirm in their seats for a little while and watch a chick flick. I think it would do their egos a lot of good to sit through a chick flick for once.
I am currently listening to Mat Redman's song Facedown. It is definately a powerful song. The glory of God is so powerful and overwhelming and the only true response is to fall facedown.
That's all from me for tonight folks. Have a good one!
Blessings,
Jana

What a fun movie! I have to admit to turning into such a girlie girl when romantic comedies/disney come on.
However much you try to escape from reality it always smacks you right in the face. A late night followed by a late morning, oh dear!
