The End has Come
For Christmas Holidays at least! I head back home to Winnipeg tomorrow morning because I am working New Year's. It has been a good holiday overall - it was nice to spend time with my family and to fully relax. I am ready to go back to Winnipeg and start my last semester of university and to start my new job on January 8. It's funny and a little scary to think that now that I have a proper job, i'm going to be expected to be the "professional" and know all the answers. It's going to take some adjusting to! I firmly believe God has led me in this direction and I'm looking forward to a new challenge. I am definately starting to feel a little more "all grown up" if you know what I mean. My life no longer revolves around Caronport and the need to stay connected to everything here like i once did. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to come to my parents for a visit and to relax, but this really isn't home anymore. With this new job, comes the blessing of a regular paycheque and medical benefits - things you don't get when you're just a student working 15-20 hours a week. Not having to rely on student loans to pay the bills is even a greater blessing, but the downside to it is having to start to pay those loans back!
So yes, the end has come of my holiday. It's been good. But, i'm ready for classes to start on Thursday and to enter the last semester of my university career.
